It is one of over 100 naturally-occurring cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant and is among the most thoroughly researched alongside THC. Cannabinoids are chemical compounds that occur naturally in the human body and actively interact with cannabinoid receptors located throughout the human body.

While CBD is a naturally-occurring component of marijuana, it does not cause a “high” like some may think. The CBD we offer is derived directly from the hemp plant, a cousin of the marijuana plant. Industrial hemp is defined by US law as cannabis having 0.3% or less delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) content by dry weight.
